The towns of Earlville and Leland will both be assisting residents with the cleanup from Wednesday morning’s storm, according to announcements posted on Facebook on Friday.
Earlville Mayor Mark Actis posted on Facebook that city crews “will be back by again next week. We wanted to give everyone the weekend to clean up. So don’t worry if you have more to clean up. They also may have left a little mess. They intend on getting that on the next trip. First trip was for the large items.”
The Leland Police Department posted on Facebook, “Stephens Tree Service will be out conducting a special cleanup of downed limbs and branches, sometime during the week of 8/15 – 8/21. Please have all limbs and branches curbside no later than Sunday night (8/15). When placing these items curbside, please, DO NOT block mailboxes, sidewalks, fire hydrants, utility boxes or telephone polls.”
