The LaSalle County Health Department is offering flu shots at a traiier in the parking lot of its office on East Etna Road in Ottawa on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week (October 6-8), with no appointments required. Shots will be available Wednesday and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Friday from noon to 3 p.m. The Health Department will bill your insurance (insurance cards required) or accept cash in payment. The cost is $25, or $60 for the high-dose vaccine given to those 65 and older. Masks are required.
